What courses does British Accent Academy currently offer?

British Accent Academy offers two British English pronunciation programmes: the independent 6-week training programme (with live group classes) and the 10-week guided training programme (with 1-on-1 private zoom classes as well as live group classes. We also offer an accent assessment service via Zoom and a free mini course to try it out.

How much do the courses cost?

The independent 6-week training (with unlimited access to self-paced materials) costs £199.
The guided 10-week training (with unlimited access to self-paced materials) costs £449.

What's included in the 6-week/10-week programme?

14 hours of video modules are included, showing you how to articulate all the vowel and consonant sounds of Modern Received Pronunciation, connected speech, and intonation. You have access to these modules for an unlimited duration. Also included are three e-books with audio on English pronunciation, animated practice videos, quizzes, worksheets, and live question and answer workshops with your speech coach, Katie. The 10-week programme also comes with four live 1-on-1 private classes with Katie on Zoom.

Who teaches at British Accent Academy?

Your teacher is Katie John, who has an MA in Linguistics from the University of Edinburgh, is certified by the International Phonetic Association, and has been a qualified teacher of English to speakers of other languages since 2011.
